Picture Prompts for Cooking

When I cook on a Friday I use these 2 picture prompts with my Autistic students as an alternative to a verbal prompt. Wash up and clean your work area download from TES

I'm glad it is of use.
I had a whole set of 'wash hands' laminated to use in class but I have put them in a very safe place and can't find them...

I agree teaching special needs students to cook is very important. Here a great site http://teaching-life-skills.com/index.html on teaching cooking to special needs students I have used the recipes and worksheets with my students. I cook every week with my students. The recipes are divided into task by task directions. The resource book was written by a special education teacher and a family and consumer education teacher.I hope that it is useful.
